(Orlando, FL)
I'm headed to sunny Florida for a five-day vacation before the NCAA Tourney and will not be on the internet much outside of my BlackBerry browser. Therefore, to curb your jealously and feed your PRC addiction (don't I wish?), I'll leave you with something to chew on:
- JetBlue is my preferred airline choice when going to Florida. But, if you really want to catch a flight without having to go anywhere or deal with the airport's inherent hassles, check out my man Justin "Jus Fly" Darlington:
- Kelly Sonora, of Online College Blog, emailed me about one of her new articles titled School Spirit: 50 Awesome iPhone Apps for College Sports Fanatics. As aforementioned, I have a BlackBerry, so I hope these links could be of better use to you!
- I recently chatted with Eyo Effiong, founder of African Basketball Online (ABO). Eyo is a former Nigerian National Team and Winthrop University Men's Basketball standout. This summer, he and Brian McCormick, will be running basketball camps in Abuja, Nigeria and Abidjan, Cote D'ivoire.
- ABO is also on a quest to equip 1,000 African Basketball Programs, with 2,000 basketballs, and basketball (any athletic) shoes each, in 3 years for the children and youth in the communities. They need your help.
- Check out the campaign contributions (including wins-losses) from your favorite "Sports Stars."
- Did anyone see that SU/UConn game last night? Or better yet, was anyone there? Wow. You were probably late for work this morning.
